Moored in the Port River, The Falie is the only remaining orginal ketch  left in Adelaide. Built in 1919, she served as a coastal trader and even as a gun ship during WW2. A dedicated band of volunteers called the "Pirate Seven"  led by Keith Ridgeway, have been slowly and painstakingly restoring every inch of her, looking forward to the day she can sail proudly down the river again.

She is used by the Fishereis Academy as a sail trainer and students can now stay overnight to learn the ancient sailors' crafts.
